Santo Domingo

Santo Domingo was the first city in the New World. It was built the first buildings of the new continent discovered by Christopher Columbus : cathedral, hospital and university. A sightseeing is needed in the colonial city through its typical streets and its historical monuments. Its commercial port annually hosts many cruise ships passing in the Caribbean islands.
